The distancing from a two-state solution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, whether intentional or unintentional, accelerates the slide toward a one-state reality. Within the framework of this phenomenon, three negative developing trends emerge: the formation of a complex and intertwined dynamic between Jews and Palestinians, which prevents any separation between them; the creation of a political deadlock without the ability to overcome and implement options for a political arrangement in the future; the emergence of a reality that undermines the Zionist vision of a Jewish, democratic, secure, and prosperous state. The Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) aims to clarify the implications and consequences of sliding toward a one-state reality, and to formulate ways to prevent such a dangerous reality. Compiled on this page are several articles, graphs, and podcasts that highlight the trends of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which directly affect both Israeli and Palestinian societies.
