The India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) is an international initiative to develop infrastructure and connectivity, linking India, the Middle East, and Europe to promote trade and regional cooperation. The IMEC project at the INSS seeks to examine in depth the initiative’s potential as a shaping factor in the regional arena. The project examines various aspects of the initiative and its implications for Israel. Within this framework, the INSS maintains an ongoing dialogue with government actors, the private sector, and academia through roundtables, simulations, and professional publications and formulates practical recommendations for decision-makers. The project aims to deepen the knowledge base, promote innovative and informed policy discourse, and identify opportunities and challenges arising from Israel’s integration into the emerging regional cooperation network.
