    Yarden Assraf is a Coordinator of the Israel National Security Policy Program at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS). Born and raised in Haifa, Assraf was active in the scouts movement as a counselor. She later served in the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, initially as a liaison officer, focusing on relationships between the army and print media journalists in the Israeli media branch. Subsequently, she assumed the role of a commander in the IDF Spokesperson's training school. Upon completion of her military service, Assraf transitioned into the role of a communications consultant. In the private sector, she worked at Unik Public Image and CRPR Consulting, representing clients from the high-tech sector, Jewish and pro-Israel organizations, as well as nonprofits. In the public sector, Assraf served as a Media Consultant and Social Media Dietary at RAFAEL Advanced Defense Systems Ltd.

    Assraf holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Tel Aviv University and is a student for a master's degree in public policy at the same institution in October 2023.
