Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Visited INSS

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Petr Macinka, visited the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) and attended a special conference discussing the annual NATO summit. In his remarks at the conference, Macinka addressed, among other things, Europe's place in the North Atlantic Alliance and its desire to increase its role in the alliance; emphasized the NATO member countries' opposition to a nuclear Iran; and highlighted the need to strengthen the ties between NATO and Israel. Later, Macinka met with the Executive Director of the Institute for National Security Studies, Maj. Gen. (res.) Tamir Hayman.
