Meny Vaknin is a Research Associate at the Diane & Guilford Glazer Israel-China Policy Center at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS). His research focuses on China’s international cooperation in agriculture, water, and environmental issues, emphasizing advanced technological projects. He is pursuing a PhD in Chinese history at Tel Aviv University, writing his dissertation on migration, settlement, and agricultural development in southern China during the Song Dynasty. He holds an MA with distinction in East Asian Studies and a BA with distinction in East Asian Studies and Geography, both from Tel Aviv University.
