    Dr. Yehuda Diskin is a Neubauer Research Fellow specializing in Egypt within the “Conflict to Agreements” program at the Institute for National Security Studies. His research interests include jihad, classical Islamic law, modern Islamic thought, and comparative studies of Islam and Judaism.

    Yehuda holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics, which he completed summa cum laude, as well as a master’s degree and a PhD in Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies. He is currently conducting postdoctoral research. During his academic studies, he received the University President’s Award for Excellence, the Academy of the Arabic Language Award for both his MA and PhD studies, and the President’s Scholarship for Outstanding Doctoral Students. In parallel with his academic work, he serves as a consultant to the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
