Dr. Jesse Weinberg is a Researcher at the INSS and the coordinator of the Israel and the Global Powers research program. He received his Ph.D. from Tel Aviv University, where he wrote his dissertation on U.S. relations with Syria from 1977 to 1988.
Dr. Weinberg’s current research focuses on U.S.–Middle East relations, U.S. foreign policy, great power competition, and the Middle East within the international system. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science and a Master’s degree in History from Tufts University, as well as an M.Sc. in the History of International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science, awarded with distinction.
