On July 30, 2019 a roundtable discussion was held at INSS dealing with the scope of judicial supervision of the government and the Knesset. The meeting was held against the background of a number of initiatives that have arisen recently to change the scope of judicial supervision of the political authorities by the Supreme Court. Fourteen experts in constitutional and administrative law with diverse views participated. The purpose was to map the main arguments on the issue, and to try to identify where the gaps were not as wide as is often assumed, and the contexts where there is even agreement.
