Dr. Dany Tirza is an expert in Home Land Security, defining borders, strategic and security planning. A Visiting Fellow at the INSS. He is the CEO of "Yozmot -Ltd.” - Consultation, Management and Guidance Company and a senior advisor at Cavendish Holdings International.
From 1994 to 2007, Col. Tirza headed a special staff unit in the Central Command of the IDF in charge of the regional and strategic planning, assistance to the government level, Prime Ministers Peres, Netanyahu, Barak, Sharon and Olmert and Ministers of Defense in their decision-making process on security and regional issues, participated in the Israeli delegations to the Peace Negotiations with the Palestinians as the expert of territorial issues and mapping. In this duty he was in charge of planning the security infrastructures and the Security Fence (key element in stopping Palestinian terrorism between 2000 and 2006 that saved the lives of thousands of people). He participated in the thinking teams at the Prime Minister’s Office, the National Security Council, and the Counter Terror Bureau. Dr. Tirza was the territorial and borders advisor to Prime Minister at the in Antipolice Negotiation process. (2008-2009)
From 2012 as an advisor to the Ministry for Regional Development of Israel, he is the integrator of the Jordan Gateway Industrial Park- a shared Industrial Park on both sides of the Jordan River.
