Boulder, Colorado terrorist Mohamed Soliman appears to follow propaganda pages aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) on both Facebook and X. His video manifesto, recorded prior to his attack on pro-Israel demonstrators June 1, 2025, originated on a Telegram channel called @TofanOmah which translates as “The Flood of the Nation”, referencing Hamas’ “Al-Aqsa Flood” name of the October 7 massacre.
The channel, active since February 17, 2025, has over 30,000 subscribers, began by sharing material of Abdullah Yusuf Azzam MB-raised mentor of Osama bin-Laden, as well as antisemitic depictions . Overall, the language of @TofanOmah posts are reminiscent of radical MB affiliates.
After Soliman’s attack, the channel posted a picture of Soliman and Capital Jewish Museum terrorist Elias Rodriguez behind former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.
The channel also offers to help those who wish to conduct other terror attacks, urging them to reach out to user @Go_Tofan (named "Stephan Alvarez”). Additionally, the channel owners opened a “bank target channel”, where they posted a call for people to target Israeli Embassies in Ghana and Cameroon.
Connection to ISNAD - Another MB-affiliated Channel
TofanOmah posts have been forwarded by other channels, including the @IsnadPalestin (ISNAD Palestine Media) channel. ISNAD shared TofanOmah posts 6 times since May 8, 2025. Moreover, an X account called "I am ISNAD" posted TofanOmah's Telegram backups and ISNAD content, hinting at collaboration between the channels.
ISNAD Palestine Media is run by Egyptian national Ezzeldeen Devidar, a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood's General Bureau and fugitive of the Egyptian government residing in Turkey. On his personal X account, Devidar called for copycat attacks like Mohamed Soliman’s. In April 2025, ISNAD shared a fatwa issued by the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS), obligating material support of jihad by all Muslims. The IUMS is affiliated with the Global Muslim Brotherhood through their shared guidance by MB spiritual leader and former IUMS chairman Yusuf al-Qaradawi.
Special thanks to Kav HaHaredi for the assistance.
A comprehensive analysis of the incident will be published by the INSS in the coming weeks.
