The Institute for National Security (INSS) is an independent, non-partisan think tank, whose goal is to strengthen Israel's future as a secure, democratic Jewish state. The Institute's drive to shape, steer, and influence Israel's policymaking community and the public discourse is made possible through its commitment to provide professional, innovative, relevant, and unbiased research. Because INSS is a not-for-profit public benefit company, fulfillment of its mission is achieved through the assistance and generosity of private individuals, major corporations, and leading foundations. This support forms a majority of the INSS budget. Gifts by donors allow INSS to ensure the excellence and diversity of its research and create the substantial impact it seeks to provide.
Individual Giving
INSS encourages the contribution of individuals and welcomes them as members of the Institute’s inner circle. These individuals will receive INSS publications, which provide insights by top level researchers on current events and the most pressing issues on Israel's national security agenda, and will be invited to INSS conferences, lectures, and general events. Individuals can also join the INSS International Board of Trustees, whose members support the Institute as part of their commitment to Israel's national security. INSS accepts donations via credit card, checks, or wire transfers that are tax deductible in the US under article 501(c)(3), and in Israel under section 46 Aleph.
Become an INSS Trustee
Specific events and conferences are tailored directly to the needs and interests of the Trustees in Israel and abroad and are led by INSS top experts. The Trustees receive special briefings when dramatic events occur in the region and are invited to the Annual Conference. It is the Institute's goal to create and maintain a personal connection with INSS Trustees, who are encouraged to visit the Institute and meet with researchers. INSS believes that a community of stronghold supporters enriches and enhances its impact. Trustees have no legal responsibilities. For information on how to become a Trustee please contact Deborah Oppenheimer.
Corporations
Corporate giving makes INSS research, events, and publications possible. Being a corporate donor provides you with tailored events and conferences on specific topics in INSS expertise. Donating corporations can receive real-time briefings and newsletters, as well as invitations to exclusive INSS conferences and events.
