Memorandum No. 106, Tel Aviv: Institute for National Security Studies, November 2010

This study charts the results of the most recent public opinion survey conducted regularly over the past twenty-five years by the Institute for National Security Studies. It compares the data with findings from previous surveys, focusing on data since 2004 and thereby giving a picture of key trends in Israeli public opinion over a five year period. Presenting and analyzing the survey’s key findings, the authors offer a profile of the Jewish Israeli body politic and gauge where the Israeli collective is positioned on the major national security issues, chief among them the challenge of a nuclear Iran and possible resolutions of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
