This year's annual Yariv Memorial Conference, in memory of INSS founder Maj. Gen. (ret.) Aharon Yariv, was devoted to an analysis of Operation Protective Edge. The following issues were addressed in five sessions: the strategic objective of the campaign; military lessons; Hamas - ideology, security concept, and conduct; the regional and international systems; and Israel's internal arena regarding the operation. The conference was held at INSS, in Hebrew.
