'The Oslo Accords, signed 30 years ago, were a seminal development in Israel-Palestinian relations. To mark this juncture, INSS will hold a conference that looks back to examine the success of the agreements, what remains of them today, and what future attempts toward an agreement might look like. Participants will deliberate whether the Oslo Accords are relevant today, as on the one hand the relations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority are a direct outcome of the signed agreement, while on the other hand, the process launched by the agreement has long since dissolved. The conference will include a discussion among senior  figures from both sides of the political map, in an effort to understand how they see Israel’s future in a conflict that is critical to national security. In addition, INSS will present policy recommendations for confronting the current situation, which sees Israel nearing, slowly but steadily, a one-state reality.
