INSS researchers, along with outside experts, conducted a simulation of a government discussion (the Prime Minister, senior ministers, and experts) on the next steps of the exit strategy from the coronavirus crisis and return of the Israeli society and economy to a routine.

Assaf Orion, as Minister of Defense; Prof. Yifat Bitton, expert on equality, College of Management and Tmura, the Israeli Anti-Discrimination Legal Centre, as Minister of Welfare; Mr. Yossi Kucik, head of consulting company and former Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office and responsible for salaries in the Finance Ministry, as Minister of Finance; Michal Cohen, Director General of the Rashi Foundation and former Director General of the Education Ministry, as Minister of Education; Prof. Gili Regev-Yochay, director of the Infectious Disease Epidemiology Unit at Sheba Medical Center, as Health Minister; Prof. Manuel Trajtenberg, professor of economics at Tel Aviv University and a senior researcher at the Samuel Neaman Institute at the Technion, as an economics expert; Lt. Gen. (ret.) Gadi Eisenkot, former IDF Chief of Staff and distinguished senior research fellow at INSS, as a security expert; Maj. Gen. (res.) Yossi Baidatz, Director General of the Center for Educational Technology and former head of the IDF Intelligence research division, as an education expert; Prof. Shuki Shemer, head of Assuta and former Director General of the Health Ministry, as an expert on COVID-19; INSS senior researcher Brig.
