    Yael Ram is a Research Associate at the INSS and a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of International Relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her research interests include international security, disinformation and post-truth, and advanced technologies, particularly artificial intelligence (AI). Her dissertation examines how states and international actors address generative AI and deepfake technology. Yael is a fellow in the Leonard Davis Institute’s graduate program (Telem) and a recipient of the President’s Scholarship for outstanding PhD students. She has worked as a teaching assistant in Introduction to International Relations and Research Methods courses. She holds a B.A and an M.A (with honors) from the Hebrew University.
