The Tshetshik Prize in Security Studies 2010 was awarded at INSS. Winners of this year's prize are Matti Steinberg for his book Facing their Fate and Amiram Oren and Rafi Regev for their book A Land in Uniform. Gideon Avital-Epstein received honorary mention for his doctoral dissertation on the Yom Kippur war in Israel's collective memory. A panel discussion on a possible unilateral declaration of a Palestinian state followed the ceremony. Participants: Dr. Oded Eran, Maj. Gen. (ret.) Amos Gilad; Brig. Gen. (ret.)
