This scenario remained stable and relatively low across all metrics: 9% selected it as a main threat, 19% assess the likelihood of its occurrence as high or very high, and 50% anticipate high or very high damage. In the July survey, 37% of the full public sample assess the State’s preparedness for this scenario as low or very low.
The anticipated damage to financial security and standard of living is the highest among all scenarios (77%), along with 60%–63% across the remaining domains.
