Neubauer Research Fellowships
The Neubauer Research Fellowships Program
Launched in 2006 and funded by Mr. and Mrs. Jospeh Neubauer of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, The Neubauer Research Fellowships Program is an opportunity for Ph.D. students to be engaged at the Insttiute for National Secuity Studies in half-time positions. These appointments are particularly suitable for doctoral candidates who are writing dissertations on subjects related to strategic studies.
Affiliation with INSS will allow students to complete the dissertation process while acquiring experience in their areas of specialization. Appointments are for one year and may be renewed for an additional year. Once the dissertation has been completed, whether during the term of the appointment or thereafter, INSS will have the right of first refusal to publish the manuscript.

The program also offers Neubauer associates an opportunity for continued affiliation with INSS in a research capacity.
Doctoral candidates from universities in Israel and abroad are encouraged to apply. Applicants are requested to send a cv, an approved doctoral proposal, a letter from the thesis advisor, and one additional letter of recommendation to:
